Hey all... Ugh, I know, I've not been around to keep track of my threads and others'. And after a while I've had to face the music and realize that I haven't been able to make any time for any roleplaying. >.> It sucks that I just can't seem to do that.

I have a lot of stuff going on, and have to drop out. It's been a blast, and I hope to come back one day! Really!

Also, we should hopefully have an update for you guys on the transfer sometime either today or tomorrow, depending on how busy we get (lol New Year's).

Due to personal reasons for having to launch into flight back up home to Canada for a family emergency — of which a lot of you know about if you're on my Plurk; I'm going to have to throw Sexy here onto a full blown hiatus rather than the slowatus I was on up until this point, just until I come back at a later date. I'm guessing I'll be back in like two - three weeks, but I'm not sure. I will continue to reply to whatever threads I have going on here whenever I get a chance, which... Honestly I'm not sure when will be.

Hey folks! Just wanted to give you an update with how things are going. We've got the log comm transferred and the others are on their way, but even so we're not going to allow posting until we're sure everything is squared away. We don't want to start and then find out something's gone screwy, y'know?

So, some things. AND THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. We're going to need everyone's character journals for Dreamwidth so that we can update the lists and add people accordingly (though we're thinking about keeping who can join the comms unmoderated for a period of time, allowing everyone to join without our approval).

The OOC comm is currently open and unmoderated, so you guys can hop over there and plot and muse there while we finish with everything else. It's not pretty or anything, but it's something.

While we've started to move stuff sooner than we were initially expected, it'll still take us some time to get situated, so please bare with us. There's a lot of technicalities going into this.

In the meantime, I hope everyone has a good New Years Eve and New Years Day. We'll be sure to keep you all updated on Paixao's happenings.

This may devolve into a full hiatus.

I'm working long hours this week and next, and frankly... I'm wiped. I worked 50 hours this week already and I still work tomorrow. I'll have worked 48 hours last week, 58 this week, and 56 next week. The holidays are the busiest time of year in the land of the Mouse, and the College Programers go home next week, leaving us understaffed a while.

You probably noticed I've been on intermittently and that I'm easily distracted. Now you know why. I'll still try to be on. I still need an escape (believe it or not).

Well, there was no one against the idea of moving, so it looks like we will likely be making the move over to Dreamwidth, like much of the rest of the LJ RP community. (Unless the unlikely happens and LJ 1. Apologies/acknowledges their mistakes AND 2. Rolls back or fixes an adequate S2 replacement. In other words... something NOOOT likely to happen, but we shall see in the coming weeks...)

However, we aren't doing it right away as... 1. Community moving won't be enabled for non-paid accounts for a few weeks. 2. We still have a lot of unfinished threads and what-not to finish here anyways. Not rushing over there is good since I know some of us still have paid time here, so least making a little more use of it is a good idea.

SO! Here is the current plan:

1. I'm gonna bash my head against code a bit more and finish up the comment page layout I've been working on here -> sir_doctor It's almost done. Downside is it involves layers... but looks really close to the real deal, eh? :D Thus...

2. Toss two months paid time on the main comm and possibly the MB. YEAH. I KNOW. It sucks to hand LJ any money right now, but this is for a good cause. The main comm is the priority... let us know if any threads are active on the MB that could use it too.

3. Post-pone week change for now. We are gonna stay on the current week till we move or whatever. Figure it's best to largely finish up any on-going threads right now and not worry about new stuff so much, unless it's something that would be going on this week.

4. Other than just finishing threads, might as well take the chance to make sure things are all tagged correctly and generally make sure everything is nice and set for a community copying.

5. Don't have exact specifics about January's AC, but expect it to be another lax one, since concentration is on finishing old content.

6. Then, providing a true-blue miracle hasn't happened with LJ... the comm will then be imported over and we'll start with a brand new shiny week.

So that's currently The Plan! Sound okay, guys?

I apologize for the terrible timing on this, considering how frustratingly behind I am as it is, but right now I need to take a hiatus. I'm dealing with a very stressful situation at home, combined with all the normal Christmas shenanigans, and the sudden instability in the RP world on top of that is making tagging very difficult for me to even consider. Hopefully, I'll be able to tackle everything head-on after what's going on here is all said and done - should things go smoothly, I'll be back and ready to go by January 1st or 2nd! Even if they don't, I'll be back within a day or two of that.
